AI DEVELOPMENT & AUTOMATION / CONVERSATIONAL

Chatbots that qualify, book and hand over cleanly.

Conversational systems for website, WhatsApp, app and internal teams—grounded in your real content, honest about what they do not know, integrated with your CRM and calendar, and built to hand over to a human before the conversation goes wrong.

Built for clinics and multi-branch healthcare groups, ecommerce brands, local service businesses, real estate and education, professional firms and SaaS support teams—particularly where enquiries arrive outside working hours or in more than one language.

DIRECT ANSWER

AI chatbot development services build conversational systems that answer questions, qualify enquiries, book appointments and route conversations to the right person across website, WhatsApp, mobile app and internal channels. A well-built chatbot answers from your own approved content rather than model memory, recognises when a question is outside its scope, captures structured information into your CRM, and hands over to a human with full context. It differs from an AI agent because its primary job is the conversation and the qualification, while an agent's primary job is completing a multi-step process in your back-end systems.

THE QUESTION THIS PAGE ANSWERS

One page, one buyer question, no fuzzy overlap.

Agents, chatbots, RAG and LLM applications overlap technically, so we split them by the decision you are actually making. Pick the question that matches yours.

YOU ARE ASKING

Can AI talk to our leads, customers or staff?

This page is about conversation quality and conversion: website and WhatsApp assistants, support deflection, lead qualification, appointment booking, multilingual coverage and clean human handoff. If the goal is completing a back-office process rather than talking to someone, the AI agents page is the better fit.

AI & NEURAL EXPERIENCE DESIGN

The six layers that separate a useful assistant from an expensive annoyance.

Select any plane to see what it does and how it fails when skipped. Almost every bad chatbot experience traces to a missing grounding, scope or handover layer rather than to a weak model.

Conversational system architecture

LAYER 01 / CHN

Channel layer

Where the conversation happens

Website widget, WhatsApp, in-app chat, Instagram and Facebook messaging, or an internal console for staff. Each channel has different expectations for response time, message length, formatting and consent—so the same assistant behaves differently per surface.

  • Website widget
  • WhatsApp Business API
  • In-app and mobile chat
  • Internal staff console

CONTEXT-AWARE ADAPTIVE STRATEGY

Same assistant architecture, very different rules of engagement.

A clinic assistant must refuse clinical advice. A retail assistant must never invent stock. An internal assistant can be far more permissive. Select the context closest to yours.

CONTEXT / Clinic & healthcare

Answer the practical questions, refuse the clinical ones.

Reception spends its day answering timings, location and preparation questions.

An assistant scoped to services, branch timings, preparation instructions, indicative price bands, insurance and booking—with hard refusal on diagnosis, dosage, results interpretation and anything requiring a clinician, routed immediately to a human.

  • Hard clinical refusal rules
  • Branch-aware booking
  • Consent and privacy handling

KEY ADVANTAGES

The advantages that survive contact with production.

Most AI work stalls between a convincing demo and a system the business can depend on. These are the advantages that decide which side of that line a project lands on.

01

Grounded answers, not confident improvisation

Replies are retrieved from your approved content and cite where they came from. If the answer is not in the knowledge base, the assistant says so and routes—rather than producing something plausible that your team then has to retract.

02

Scope discipline in regulated categories

In healthcare, finance and legal contexts, what the assistant refuses matters more than what it answers. Refusal rules are defined with you, tested as part of the evaluation set, and are non-negotiable in production.

03

Handover that does not annoy people

Escalation triggers on low confidence, explicit request, frustration or high value, routes to the right owner with business-hours awareness, and passes the full conversation so the customer never repeats themselves.

04

WhatsApp where your customers already are

For most Indian SMEs, clinics and ecommerce brands, WhatsApp is the real channel. We build on the official Business API with proper template, consent and opt-out handling rather than fragile unofficial workarounds.

05

Structured records instead of transcripts

The assistant writes clean fields into the CRM—service, branch, timing, budget band, urgency, source—so your team gets a qualified record to act on, not a wall of chat to read at nine in the morning.

06

Multilingual coverage that reflects real usage

English, Hindi and regional languages including transliterated input, because a large share of Indian enquiries arrive in mixed script. Language is detected and mirrored rather than forced.

07

Disclosure and consent built in

People are told clearly they are talking to an AI assistant, consent and purpose are captured at the point of collection, and retention windows are enforced on conversation logs—aligned to the EU AI Act transparency duties and India's DPDP Rules.

08

Measured on outcomes, not on chat volume

We report qualified enquiries, bookings, resolution rate, escalation quality and cost per outcome. Total conversations is a number that always goes up and tells you nothing about whether the assistant earned its keep.

KINETIC & SPATIAL MICRO-INTERACTIONS

A late-night enquiry, from first message to a booked slot.

Play the sequence or select any step. Watch where the assistant refuses, where it grounds its answer, and where it deliberately stops and brings a human in.

LIVE SEQUENCE / WORKED EXAMPLE

Worked example: a first-time visitor messages a clinic's WhatsApp at 9:15pm asking about a treatment, its price and whether it will hurt.

STEP 01 / Disclosure

Say what this is

The first reply identifies the assistant as an AI system, states what it can help with, and offers a human alternative. This is both a trust decision and a regulatory one—the EU AI Act transparency duties covering chatbot disclosure apply from 2 August 2026.

What the step producesA clear AI disclosure and a visible route to a human, logged with the conversation.

2026 AI BRIEFING

Each trend links to a primary or authoritative source, and to a full briefing page where the evidence, the commercial implication and our exact response are written out.

TREND SIGNAL / COMPLIANCE

Chatbot disclosure becomes a legal duty, not a courtesy

From August 2026, telling people they are interacting with an AI system moves from good practice to a transparency obligation in the EU—and to a reasonable expectation everywhere else.

  • EU AI Act Article 50 transparency duties apply from 2 August 2026
  • Covers chatbot disclosure and marking AI-generated content
  • These duties were not delayed when high-risk obligations were pushed back

WHAT WE BUILD

A complete ai chatbot development capability, not a proof of concept.

Eight capabilities behind an assistant your team is happy to point customers at. Most projects begin with one channel and one scope, then widen once the answer quality holds.

01

Scope definition & refusal design

Agreeing precisely what the assistant handles, what it must refuse, and what it routes—then testing those refusals as rigorously as the answers. In regulated categories this is the most important work in the project.

02

Website & in-app chat assistants

Fast, accessible, mobile-first chat surfaces that load without hurting Core Web Vitals, keep context across pages, and never block the content behind them.

03

WhatsApp Business API assistants

Official API implementation with template message handling, opt-in and opt-out management, session window awareness, media support and persistent conversation history.

04

Knowledge base grounding & citations

Retrieval over your approved content so answers reflect what your business actually says, with an internal citation trail so any disputed reply can be traced to its source.

05

Lead qualification & booking flows

Adaptive questioning that captures structured fields rather than transcripts, checks live availability, holds slots and writes qualified records into the CRM with consent recorded.

06

Human handover & routing

Escalation triggers, availability-aware routing, context handover packets and out-of-hours fallback—so the transition to a person feels like continuity rather than starting over.

07

Multilingual & vernacular support

English, Hindi and regional languages including transliterated input, with language detection, mirroring, and escalation to someone who speaks the same language.

08

Analytics, evaluation & continuous tuning

Resolution rate, escalation quality, qualified enquiries, booking rate and cost per outcome—plus a weekly review of failed conversations that feeds directly back into the knowledge base.

DELIVERY SEQUENCE

Evidence first. Then a thin slice in production. Then scale.

The roadmap is sequenced by dependency and expected value. We would rather put one narrow workflow live and measured than demo six that never leave the sandbox.

01

Scope, refusal & channel decisions

We agree exactly what the assistant covers, what it must refuse, which channels it runs on and who it escalates to. In regulated categories this workshop is the most valuable session in the project.

02

Knowledge base preparation

Collecting, cleaning and approving the content the assistant is allowed to answer from—service details, policies, price bands, timings, FAQs, product data—with an owner named for keeping it current.

03

Conversation & handover design

Qualification flows, escalation triggers, routing rules, out-of-hours behaviour and the exact disclosure wording, designed with the team who will handle the escalations.

04

Build, integrate & evaluate

Channel implementation, retrieval grounding, CRM and calendar integration, then an evaluation set built from your real past enquiries—including the questions it must refuse.

05

Supervised launch

Live on one channel with staff monitoring every conversation for the first period, so tone, scope and refusal behaviour can be corrected against real traffic before volume increases.

06

Weekly tuning & expansion

Failed and escalated conversations reviewed weekly and fed back into the knowledge base. Additional channels, languages and scopes are added once the answer quality is holding.

MEASUREMENT CONTRACT

Conversation count is not a result. These four are.

Total conversations always rises and tells you nothing. We agree these measures before launch and report them weekly, with escalated conversations reviewed as a source of improvement rather than as failures to hide.

Structured, not transcriptsQualified enquiries

Complete lead records with consent captured, ready for the team to act on without reading the chat.

With satisfaction attachedResolution rate

Conversations genuinely resolved, always reported alongside satisfaction so deflection cannot be gamed.

Handoffs that helpEscalation quality

Share of escalations arriving with enough context that the human needed no further investigation.

Booking or resolutionCost per outcome

Fully loaded conversation cost per booked appointment or resolved enquiry, against the manual baseline.

READINESS, PRIVACY, SECURITY & HUMAN OVERSIGHT

What the assistant must never do, enforced in the build.

Conversational systems talk directly to your customers in your name, and their logs hold personal data. These six controls are designed in from the first workshop, aligned to the EU AI Act transparency duties and India's DPDP Rules.

Control 01

Clear AI disclosure

People are told they are interacting with an AI assistant before the first substantive answer, with a persistent indicator and a visible route to a human—matching the EU AI Act transparency duties applying from August 2026.

Control 02

Hard refusal boundaries

Clinical advice, diagnosis, dosage, legal opinion, financial advice and any category you nominate are blocked and routed to a qualified human, and those refusals are tested before every release.

Control 03

Consent, purpose & opt-out

Consent and stated purpose captured in-conversation at the point of collection, with opt-out honoured immediately and permanently across every channel the assistant runs on.

Control 04

Retention & deletion that reaches logs

Enforced retention windows on transcripts and attachments, with deletion requests propagating to chat logs, backups and vendor systems rather than stopping at the CRM.

Control 05

Grounding & anti-fabrication

Answers come from approved retrieved content with a citation trail. When retrieval returns nothing relevant, the assistant says so and routes rather than generating something plausible.

Control 06

Prompt injection defence

User messages and retrieved content are treated as untrusted data, never as instructions, and injection attempts against scope and refusal rules form part of the pre-release evaluation set.

GOOGLE SEARCH + AI FEATURES

Built to be found by people and by AI systems.

Everything we ship for you is built the way we built this page: fast, crawlable, factually grounded and structured so an answer engine can quote it correctly.

01

Chat that does not hurt Core Web Vitals

The widget loads after the main content, reserves its own space so nothing shifts, and never blocks rendering. A chatbot that costs you LCP and CLS is costing you the traffic it was meant to convert.

02

Accessible conversation interfaces

Keyboard operable, screen-reader labelled, sufficient contrast, respects reduced-motion preferences, and never traps focus. An assistant that excludes people is not a service improvement.

03

Structured data that matches the page

Service, breadcrumb, FAQ and item-list markup describing exactly what is visible here. Markup that overstates the page is a spam-policy issue rather than an optimisation.

04

Evidence over adjectives

Every statistic on this page links to a primary source, and the same rule applies to the knowledge bases we build—because unverifiable claims are what answer engines decline to repeat.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Clear answers before the first call.

Written for the person who has to sign off the budget and defend it later. Every answer stays visible on the page, and the structured data matches it word for word.

01

What is the difference between an AI chatbot and an AI agent?

A chatbot's primary job is the conversation: answering accurately, qualifying an enquiry, booking a slot and handing over to a human well. An AI agent's primary job is completing a multi-step process in your back-end systems, where the conversation may be incidental or absent entirely. Many projects need both, and they share the same grounding and integration layers, but they are measured differently—conversation quality and conversion for one, completed outcomes for the other.

02

Will the chatbot make things up about our business?

Not if it is built correctly. Answers are retrieved from your approved content and generated strictly from that retrieved material, with an internal citation trail so any disputed reply can be traced to its source. When retrieval returns nothing relevant, the assistant says it does not know and routes to a human rather than improvising. Fixing a wrong answer means correcting the source document, which then applies everywhere.

03

Can it handle WhatsApp as well as our website?

Yes, and for most Indian businesses WhatsApp is the more important of the two. We build on the official WhatsApp Business API with proper template message handling, explicit opt-in, immediate opt-out, session window awareness and persistent conversation history. We do not use unofficial automation of the consumer app, because that risks your number being blocked and the channel being lost.

04

How does the handover to a human actually work?

Escalation triggers on low confidence, explicit request, repeated failure, detected frustration or high enquiry value. The conversation routes to the right owner based on topic and availability, with a summary, the structured fields captured and the full history attached, so the customer never has to repeat themselves. Outside business hours the assistant sets expectations honestly and queues the conversation rather than pretending someone is available.

05

Is a chatbot safe to use for a clinic or healthcare business?

It is, provided scope is defined tightly. Our clinic assistants answer practical questions—services, branch timings, preparation instructions, indicative price bands, insurance, booking—and hard-refuse diagnosis, dosage, suitability, side effects and results interpretation, routing those to a clinician. Those refusals are tested as rigorously as the answers before every release, and health-adjacent conversation data is handled under agreed retention rules.

06

Do we have to tell customers it is an AI?

You should, and increasingly you must. The EU AI Act transparency duties covering chatbot disclosure apply from 2 August 2026, and if you serve EU customers they can apply to you. Beyond compliance it is a conversion decision: trust collapses when a customer works it out for themselves, whereas a clear opening statement plus an obvious route to a human consistently performs better.

07

Which languages can it handle?

English, Hindi and major regional languages, including messages transliterated into Latin script, which is how a large share of Indian enquiries actually arrive. The assistant detects the language used and mirrors it. We test the evaluation set in every language the assistant claims to support, and escalate to someone who speaks that language rather than to a generic queue.

08

How long does it take to launch a chatbot?

Typically six to ten weeks for a first channel: one to two weeks on scope, refusal rules and channel decisions, two to three weeks preparing and approving the knowledge base, then build, integration, evaluation and a supervised launch. Knowledge base readiness is the usual determinant of speed—businesses with current, accurate documentation move considerably faster than those whose policies live in people's heads.

09

What does it cost to run?

Running cost is model tokens per conversation, plus channel fees such as WhatsApp conversation charges, plus hosting. We model cost per conversation during design and monitor it in production against the manual handling cost, with the reporting expressed as cost per booked appointment or resolved enquiry rather than cost per message—which is the number that actually tells you whether it is worth running.

10

What happens to the conversation data?

It is yours. Conversations are stored in systems you control with agreed retention windows enforced, consent and purpose captured at the point of collection, and deletion requests propagating to chat logs and backups rather than stopping at the CRM. Your data is not used to train models. We document where conversation data lives and which vendors can access it, so you can answer that question in a client audit.

Start with one workflow worth automating.

Bring us the process that costs you the most hours or the most lost enquiries. We will scope it honestly, tell you if AI is the wrong tool for it, and price the smallest version that can prove itself in production.
